A Cold Dip Galvanised Flat Bar is a steel bar that with a protective layer of zinc through a cold galvanizing process. The process of adding zinc to a cold dip galvanised flat bar is called as electroplating. For a Cold Dip GI flat bar, the galvanizing process involves applying a zinc-based coating through electrochemical or spray methods. It provides  a moderate corrosion resistance. Thus Cold Dip GI flat is suitable for indoor and mild outdoor applications.
